Standard tapes are manufactured with a 1/4″ (6.35mm) wide Vernier Gage, a 1/2″ (12.7mm) wide Main Body and a 1/4″ (6.35mm) wide Gage Member.
The standard thickness of the material is .010″ (0.25mm).
